Still Lines

$380.00

12”x16” (unframed), 13”x17” (framed)

Acrylic on canvas, 2025

A quiet study in contrast and restraint. Thin black pines stretch across a muted landscape, evoking stillness in motion. A meditation on presence and absence.

Painting comes ready to hang, hand-framed in ash with a natural finish. This is an original painting, signed on the front with date and info on the back. Sealed with UV protective varnish.

—

This painting is part of LINES BETWEEN: a series reflecting on the quiet spaces we often overlook—the pauses between words, the shift between seasons, the soft divide between presence and absence. These works trace the invisible lines that hold tension, memory, and change. Through trees, branches, and fading forms, the series invites us to notice what lingers in the in-between.

It’s been a while since I’ve shared my pottery. I love working with both paint and clay — they push me to think in two dimension as well as three, each exercising my creativity in different ways yet crossing over at the same time.
Inspired by the rugged beauty of Canada’s East Coast, ‘Meeting in My Memories’ is an invitation into a gentle journey through recollections, where colours and forms blur, much like the way our memories shift and fade over time.

‘Silent Tribute’ — A quiet homage to what has passed. This piece holds space for absence, honoring its presence while reflecting on the subtle strength found in stillness and remembrance.

30”x40”, acrylic on canvas.
